Brewery Het Anker decided to brew an easy drinkable city beer for the Mechelenians, still peppy enough in order to enjoy it to the fullest. We brew a heroic beer called Maneblusser. It’s a blond beer with an alcohol percentage of 6.2% vol. in which you can taste a subtle citrus aroma and a fine finish. Maneblusser is brewed according to the traditional method of high fermentation with refermentation in the bottle. The inspiration for this brew originates in the night of January 27th in the year 1687. The moon projected its reddish glow on Saint Rumbold’s tower, which was wrapped in a dense fog. “Fire, fire, the tower is on fire!” shouts the dreary voice of a drunken man. The alarm was sounded and people were making haste to help extinguish the so-called fire. Before the tower was reached, the moon slowly moved through the fog. From that moment on, the Mechelenians are called the Maneblussers or “Moonextinguishers”.

Also occasionally available in cask-conditioned form at 5% ABV.

Deep blonde in colour, Barbãr’s creamy head gives off a powerful aroma, unobtrusively scented with honey and accompanied by a bouquet of floral, spicy and citrus notes. The use of soft wheat gives a rounded attack, without heaviness. The sugar provided by the honey during the wort boiling undergoes fermentation and is converted into alcohol. Consequently, this is a soft but not sweet beer, with a touch of acidity which gives it freshness. The finish is full of finesse and without a bitter aftertaste. An original and distinctive beer whose distant origins go back to the “cervoise” brewed by our ancestors who called it “Warrior’s rest”.

The addition of dried orange peel at the boiling stage brings a pleasantly fruity aroma to the fore. It harmonises quite beautifully with the well-rounded and delicate taste of this beer.

Duvel is a natural beer with a subtle bitterness, a refined flavour and a distinctive hop character. The unique brewing process, which takes about 90 days, guarantees a pure character, delicate effervescence and a pleasant sweet taste of alcohol. Apart from pure spring water, which is the main ingredient of beer, barley is the most important raw material. Barley must germinate for five days in the malt house, after which malt remains. The colour of the malt and as a consequence also of the beer is determined by the temperature. Duvel obtains its typical bitterness by adding various varieties of aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops. We use only exclusive hops that are renowned for their constant, outstanding quality. Duvel ferments for the first time in tanks at 20 to 26°C. The brewer uses his own culture for this. The original yeast strain, which Victor Moortgat himself selected in the 1920’s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks in which the beer is cooled down to -2°C, the drink is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This occurs in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilise for a further six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel.

Using all of the same ingredients that we use in the original Tynt Meadow, we have produced a lighter, refreshing English style blond. This beer is 5%, and bottle conditioned.

A perfectly balanced ale. The ale is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.

In Napoleon's time Pauwel Kwak was a brewer and the owner of the 'De Hoorn' inn in Dendermonde. Mail coaches stopped there every day. But at that time coachmen were not allowed to leave their coach and horses in order to have their thirst quenched along with their passengers. As a result, the inventive innkeeper had a special Kwak glass blown that could be hung on the coach. In this way the coachman had his Kwak beer safely at hand. LOOK: Kwak is recognisable by its deep bright amber colour and a dense, creamy coloured head. The pale wood of the glass holder makes a pleasant contrast with the beer. SMELL: You will smell a mellow, fruity and malty aroma with a slightly spicy character (coriander, hops). Additional earthy and very subtle aromas of banana and perhaps also a whiff of pineapple or mango in the background. TASTE: Discover a very mellow, fruity attack, a nougat-like solidity, and a slightly spicy character with hints of liquorice passing into a warm finish that reminds you of caramelised banana. The bitterness always remains in the background but in the end emerges delicately.

Corsendonk Pater Dubbel is a soft and top-fermented dark beer, refermented and aged in bottle to a lively sparkling beer with rich foam. This beer has caramelized malt on the nose with hints of ripe fruit. Mild on the palate with wellbalanced bitterness, hints of fruit, toasted bread, liquorice, coffee and caramel.

Gouden Carolus Classic, the ‘Grand Imperial Beer’ from Mechelen, is brewed with dark, very balanced dosed caramel and aromatic malts. This unique beer combines the warmth of wine and the freshness of beer. This makes it very suitable in combination with culinary specialties such as stews, pâtés, ripened or strong cheeses. Trappist beers tend to be named after the place in which the monastery is situated. We’ve called ours ‘Tynt Meadow’, to honour the link with the plot of land on which monastic life was refounded here in the Midlands almost two centuries ago. Being part of the great Trappist tradition, we’ve chosen to produce a strong dark ale, but one with a clearly English character. Tynt Meadow is mahogany-coloured, with a subtle, warm red hue, and a lasting beige head. Its aroma carries hints of dark chocolate, liquorice, and rich fruit flavours. The beer is full-bodied, gently balancing the taste of dark chocolate, pepper, and fig. It leaves a warm and dry finish on the palate.

Westmalle Dubbel is a dark, reddish-brown Trappist beer with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The creamy head has the fragrance of special malt and leaves an attractive lace pattern in the glass. The flavour is rich and complex, herby and fruity with a fresh-bitter finish. It is a balanced quality beer with a soft feel in the mouth and a long, dry aftertaste. The Dubbel contains 7% alcohol.

Corsendonk Agnus Tripel is a spicy top-fermented blond beer, also refermented in the bottle and matured into a lively sparkling beer with a spicy bouquet and hopped aftertaste.

The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry. Color and Sight: Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkle creates a nice, stable foam head. Scent: Slightly malty, heavy touch of alcohol, spicy. Taste: A good shot of alcohol ignites in the mouth, as it were, which really warms the tongue and palate. The taste is also characterized by its roundness. The finish is strong, long and dry bitter.

Gouden Carolus Tripel was originally brewed for the Knights of the Golden Fleece in 1491. This golden specialty beer is brewed with the best Belgian ripe barley and hops, to preserve as much pure aroma as possible. Ideal with chicken, spicy dishes or fine, soft cheeses. Elected World’s Best Triple (World Beer Awards 2012).

Guldenberg is a high-fermenting, balanced bitter beer. The origin of the name comes from the former Guldenberg-abbey in Wevelgem where monks used to make beer. Also, Wevelgem is the birthplace of one of the brewers. Taste: A full-bodied abbey beer that balances between sweet and bitter. It is dry-hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh which results in a unique soft-bitter taste and aroma.

A classic tripel but enriched with a modern hoppiness. Our explosive Hop Ruiter tames Belgian yeast and overseas hops to a particularly aromatic tripel. So called dryhopping makes this beer a complex tripel that constantly surprises.

Lupulus is a blonde ale with an alcohol proof of 8,5 %, refermented in champagne bottles and in casks. The choice not to filter the beer, as well as not to pasteurize it ensures its taste and aromatic quality. The use of hops in considerable quantities, gives this liquid gold a freshness and an incomparable bouquet. Store this beer, as it ought to be, next to your beloved Grand-Cru and serve at a temperature between 8 and 12°C (46,4 and 53,6°F). You'll be delighted !

Ondineke is een ongefilterd goudblond bier met een alcoholpercentage van 8,5%, zonder toevoeging van kruiden. De brouwer maakt gebruik van de enige hopvariëteit die nog in Aalst verbouwd wordt, namelijk Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Het bier is genoemd naar Ondine, het hoofdpersonage van De Kapellekensbaan, een boek van Louis Paul Boon. Ondineke is ook het officiële stadsbier van Aalst en wordt op recepties van de stad aangeboden.

Sint-Gummarus of Lier (born in Emblem, died ca. 714) was a Knight at the Court of Pippin of Herstal and according to the legend also the founder of the city of Lier. 
He is the patron of all those who live with a fracture. 
 One of the miracles assigned to him is that he restored a broken tree with his belt. So not only bone fractures, but also marriage breaks, since he had a bad marriage with an evil wife himself. Gummarus builds a chapel in Lier, where today is still a church. Apart from the story of the tree that started to grow back, he let a source spring from out of the ground by using his staff on the ground. The unique source would be perfect for healings of all kind of fractures. Every year on October 11th, pilgrims visit the Sint-Gummarus Church in the city of Lier to ask and pray for the health of bad fractures and also for his help to be preserved of fractures. About Gummarus, we know nothing with certainty but what we do know is that Sint-Gummarus has inspired us to brew a delicious Triple and Double in his honour! Sint Gummarus was the first real Limburg Tripel beer ever brewed! Sint Gummarus Tripel of Brouwerij Cornelissen has a full flavor with a pleasant bitterness and a fruity flavor underlying with a final hoppy aftertaste. The aroma of Tripel d’Anvers immediately reveals the use of meticulously selected malts. It opens with traces of caramel and biscuit that continue in the delicious round taste. Creamy hazelnut and a touch of vanilla pleasantly combine with the delicate herbiness of this robust tripel.

Tripel Karmeliet is still brewed to an authentic beer recipe from 1679 originating in the former Carmelite monastery in Dendermonde. Written over 300 years ago, this recipe describes the use of three kinds of grain: wheat, oats and barley. The name Tripel karmeliet thus refers both to its origin and its in-bottle refermentation. From many trial brews of multigrain tripels carried out at our brewery in the 90s, it appears that the particular historic combination of the 3 kinds of grain still remains the ideal blend.

Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

Was first brewed in 1934 and the recipe has not changed since 1956. It is made with pale candy sugar and has a very pale color produced from a mash of light pilsener malts. Styrian Goldings hops are used along with some German varieties and the classic Saaz pilsener hop. After a long secondary fermentation, the Tripel Westmalle is bottled with a dose of sugar and yeast. This beer holds up well in the bottle over time and seems to soften with age.

A golden malty tripel with a well-balanced bitterness and fruity aftertaste. Diverse flavours come together in harmony. Fresh dry to slightly sweet with subtle notes of coriander. The scent of yellow fruits and delicate bitterness determine the definition of this original and praised tripel.

Zundert Trappist is een kastanjekleurig bovengistend bier met nagisting op fles. Het bevat 8% alcohol. We hebben gekozen voor een bier dat we ‘een beetje weerbarstig’ noemen. Dat wil zeggen, Zundert Trappist is een bier dat je de tijd moet geven om daadwerkelijk te doorgronden. Ons trappistenbier heeft een veelbelovende geur met een zweem van kruiden en specerijen. In de aanzet is Zundert Trappist bloemig en iets zoet. Geef het bier wat tijd en het karakter evolueert van licht karamel naar een mooie en droge hopbitterheid. In de lange afdronk vloeien de bitters samen met een aangename kruidigheid op de achtergrond.

St.Bernardus Abt 12 is a dark beer of top fermentation with a robust head that is ivory in colour. It has a very fruity aroma that is the result of using our own unique yeast. It brims over with different, complex tastes and stands out through its long, bittersweet finish. It is an ideal partner for rich beef dishes and recipes with game. It also forms a perfect match with blue cheese and chocolate.

Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer Imperial Dark was enriched by an infusion of Gouden Carolus Single Malt whisky. The result is a unique beer: powerful and full-bodied, with subtle touches of vanilla, oak and chocolate. An imperial brew to cherish and enjoy in moderation.

Dominant impressions of latte coffee with powerful chocolate aromas in the nose. The alcohol esters are enveloped with hints of autumn wood, citrus zest (orange, lemon) and freshly baked biscuits. The initial taste is sweetly sinful. Beer and chocolate trapped into one single glass, a liquid milky draught with a backbone of bitter malt. The alcohol warms the throat and, in the finish, you will pick up traces of cloves, citrus, orange and mocha. The heaviest of the Rochefort beers, the 10 is a quadrupel style beer and can be recognized by its blue label.

Originally called "Spécial," Rochefort 8 dates to the mid-1950s. The name comes from the original gravity in "Belgian degrees." Deep brown color; the flavor is vigorous and complex, with firm body to support the strength. The aroma has elusive notes of fresh fruit, spice, leather, and figs. ABV 9.2 IBU 22

Val-Dieu Grand Cru from Brasserie De L’Abbaye Du Val-Dieu is the latest addition from Cistercian abbey of Val-Dieu, has a deep dark color, is quite oily and spicy, with aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and port wine; finishes slightly dry.

While drinking an excellent Milk Stout from Left Handed Giant during the summer, we realised that we haven't brewed a mid strength stout for ages. So why not brew it with the people that inspired the thought. This is not a pastry stout yet it is incredibly smooth and decadent. Mashed with only 50% base malt and the rest is jammed full of flaked and Golden Naked Oats and a variety of roasted and caramel malt. Mashed with cacao husk, and conditioned on cacao nibs and vanilla this is a deliciously rich and velvety stout where the beautiful malt flavours are complimented, not dominated, by the adjuncts.

Brewing good beer is all about good chemistry. And post-rationalising a collaboration brew is all about good metaphors. And good metaphors are all about, well, I’m not sure. But good chemistry is essential at all levels, including the metaphorical level. And when you’re making 13% Imperial Milk Stouts, it’s as important as ever to get your chemistry and your metaphors just right. So, with this in mind, we invited APEX back to Blomstergatan, barely six months after the last time they visited, to reignite that sleeping flame of love. Imperial Milk Stout 13%. Six different types of malt. Golden Promise base, double roasted crystal, premium English caramalt, pale chocolate, carafa type one and golden naked oats. Lactose for sweetness and Columbus, Tomahawk and Zeus hops for bitterness

Beluga is a bold, roasted Russian Imperial Stout. Complex and luxurious, we get the requisite chocolate and coffee flavours, but enriched with subtle hints of leather and dried fruits. Take your time to savour this beer, as it needs rumination, and just might provoke deeper contemplation.

A classic dry stout of 7% vol alcohol, brewed with smoked wheat malt and flavored with fresh vanilla. Charbon is a beer with contradictions: the roasted flavors work together with the smoke flavor from oak-smoked wheat malt to give a good dose of pit with the beer. On the other hand the customized extract of fresh vanilla gives us a mild soft and subtle touch in the beer. The combination provides a thrilling Stout on which the antithetical taste nevertheless ensures a harmonious and balanced whole. Charbon combines well with creamy, soft cheeses.

Rich and luxurious Imperial Stout aged on rum soaked vanilla beans and raisins, a decadent pleasure that lures to enjoy the very finest things in life. Time seems to slow down when pouring this beer, liquid black gold fills the glass with a deep chocolate coloured foam. Powerful combination of vanilla, chocolate and smooth rum fill the nose. Explore volcano is a dessert stout with an insane-looking purple foam. The malt base is based on basic, caramel, chocolate and roasted malts. The dessert sweetness comes from the malts and fruits that have been added here. A huge amount of berries perfectly harmonizes with the chocolate character. Note: This beer is 8% ABV in bottle, 10.5% in cask and keg. Ola Dubh (pronounced ‘ola-doo’ and Gaelic for ‘black oil’) was conceived in 2007. It was the first ale to be matured in whisky barrels from a named distillery and, with traceable casks and numbered bottles, it is a beer with real provenance. To make Ola Dubh 12, we take our Old Engine Oil (amped up to 10.5%) and age it for up to 6 months in casks that previously held Highland Park 12 Year Old single malt. And it is ready only when our head brewer, Stuart, deems it ready! This amazing brew has been aged in selected oak casks formerly used to mature Highland Park 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky, adding complementary whisky notes to our chocolatey, bittersweet beer. Ola Dubh 12 pours black with a modest spattered head that reduces slowly, leaving behind textbook lacing. The aroma is delicious; smoky Worcestershire sauce, leather, iodine and grilled steak. Flavours of smoky-sweet malts, roasted peat, coffee beans and a well-bittered finish. Overall this is a rather exotic brew with a defined barrel influence. It’s refined rather than over the top and very delicious indeed. HOPS: Galena, East Kent Goldings, Fuggles MALTS: Roast barley, oats

Brewed with well water (the original well, sunk in 1758, is still in use with the hard water is drawn from 85 feet underground), the gently roasted organic chocolate malt and organic cocoa impart a delicious, smooth and creamy character, with inviting deep flavours and a delightful finish – this is the perfect marriage of satisfying stout and luxurious chocolate.

An English style porter with a Garage twist. The aim was to really push a deep and rich maltiness with restrained levels of roast to make for an easy drinker. Chocolate, toffee, nutty biscuit and raisins on the nose. The flavour notes follow the aroma with a smooth body and balanced bitterness contribution from a single hop addition and dehusked chocolate malt. At 4.5% this is superbly sessionable tipple. What's more, it's gluten free.

IPA - Dry-hopped with Citra & Enigma

Out of this world Double IPA with a dry-hop of none other than two experimental hops: HBC630 from Yakima Chief for tropical jungle aromas and Nelson CGX from New Zealand Hops for all the NZ goodness. The interaction of these hops results in a fruit mélange of gooseberry candies, ripped passion fruit, and a funky kiwi and cherry character. It has a fluffy and thick mouthfeel thanks to an oat-forward grain bill with a not overly sweet finish. A daring brew for those exploring the edge of the beer universe.

A blend of 6 carefully selected hops come together here to bring a heady mix of tangy tropical fruits, orange juice, lychee and a floral undertone. Ther culprits here are Citra, Simcoe Cryo, Ekuanot, Cashmere, Galaxy and Amarillo.

This 6.2% juicy IPA is a belter. It's not secret that we are big fans of Mosaic here at Garage. Particularly our selected lots which just bring so much mango and passion fruit with a lovely sweaty, dank edge. Combine this with Cashmere and it just becomes a tropical bonanza. With a grist similar to our flagship IPA, Soup, this balances softness, sweetness and bitterness perfectly.

A tropical explosion reminiscent of POG (Passionfruit, Orange, Guava) juice, complemented by distinct herbal dank and berry aromas. We chose a blend of Pilsner malts, oat, wheat, and chit malts, providing a smooth and creamy mouthfeel while maintaining a bright, pale appearance and floffy mouthfeel. The beer has a Zappa addition in the whirlpool and has been dry-hopped with Simcoe, Kohia Nelson SubZero and Kohia Motueka SubZero, both passion fruit-infused liquid hop kiefs from Freestyle Hops. Crafted for those who crave high-intensity hop flavours on their journey trough beer.

Ketelbinkie is a low alcohol New England IPA. The malt recipe consists of 1/3 oats, 1/3 wheat and 1/3 barley. This makes the beer extremely cloudy and gives it a velvety feel to the mouth. The addition of unfermentable milk sugar and a low degree of fermentation gives the beer a relatively high residual sugar content, making it very tasty for a low-alcohol beer. No bitter hops are used during the brewing process, which means that Ketelbinkie has a low bitterness. Generous amounts of Citra, Rakau and Lemondrop hops in the whirlpool and during fermentation give a fruity hop aroma to this refreshing beer.

Citra + Nelson Sauvin = YES. Why haven't we made this IPA before? Idiocy.

A new session IPA that focuses on a modern classic hop: Strata. We love the complex mix of grapefruit, passion fruit and cannibas that it brings. We have thrown in some El Dorado to enhance the soft fruit character and some Citra and Amarillo for more grapefuit and orange notes. A super soft base that is heavy in raw oats makes this a very smooth, easy session IPA that is perfect for all occasions.

Pale and thick. Dank and juicy. That's what we have here in our latest DIPA. jammed up with heaps of Citra, Motueka and Simcoe, this one is big on citrus up front with grapefruit and lime mojito with a heft background of fleshy peach and no little resin. It's silky smooth and delicious.

TEMPORALITY DDH NEIPA WLP095 BURLINGTON

This beer was brewed in collaboration with White Labs Copenhagen.Leaning on White Labs’ yeast knowledge we decided to brew a beer that was fermented with a blend of our house yeast and their new Tropicale yeast which has the ability to activate more tropical fruit aroma and flavour into the beer. Passionfruit, pineapple and mango to the max.

Two varieties, three formats. a big hazy IPA with Strata, Strata CGX and CItra. It should be considered cheating really because as the saying goes, "quality in, quality out". And these are two top quality hop varieties that never fail to bring it. Passion fruit, grapefruit, peach and cannibis is what we get on the nose here.

Our try at the classic style. Blending two saison yeasts and letting it ferment and lager for about two months, made this into a dry, full tasting dangerously drinkable saison.

The first beer we put out officially. Mannenliefde is a saison flavoured with lemongrass, Szechuan pepper and Sorachi Ace hops.

Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium’s most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. Incredibly compatible with food!

A traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in their #7 fermenter. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a big surge of fruity aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes, the flavor of this complex, straw-colored ale tapers off to a peppery, dry finish.

Bacchus Raspberry Beer is brewed on a Bacchus Flemish Old Brown base. This raspberry beer surprises with a slight touch of caramel from the roasted malt. Bacchus Raspberry Beer offers a beautiful balance between the aromas of sweet raspberries and the sweet and sour of the base bier.

Bacchus Cherry Beer is brewed using Bacchus Flemish Old Brown as a base. This cherry beer surprises with a slight touch of caramel from the roasted malt. Bacchus Cherry Beer offers a beautiful balance between the aromas of ripe cherries and the sweet and sour of the base beer.

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

The appearance of this exceptional beer is matched only by its taste! To make our Framboise, we add raspberry juice to our lambic. That gives it a delicate fruity aroma and a beautiful dark pink colour, just like the dress I wore to our cousin Willy's wedding. (But that's of no interest to you since you undoubtedly don't know Willy). Framboise is served as an aperitif, but I also use it in cooking. And when I don't finish the bottle in my preparations, I finish it in my glass.

Liefmans Goudenband is one of the most distinctive dark beers in the world. Originally called IJzerenband (Iron Band) – a reference to the iron bands around the beer barrels – the bottle gained its champagne cork when it was renamed Liefmans Goudenband (Gold Band). Made in open vats with beer of mixed fermentation, it is left to mature for four to 12 months in the cellar. Mature beer is then fortified with younger beer, so the fermentation process starts up again. Liefmans Goudenband is a beer for storing, and just keeps improving over the years like a fine wine. Even after ten years, this dark red beer tastes as fresh as ever. You’ll immediately pick up on the wonderful aromas of caramel, apple, rhubarb, cherries and malt. On the taste buds you will find hints of apple and cherries, combined with woody notes, while the aftertaste hints at nuts and dried raisins. The mildly acidic taste make this beer a perfect match for blue cheese.

Formerly known as Liefmans Kriek and Cuvée - Brut. This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and Goudenband from different vintages, and can consist of between 15 and 20 different batches of beers. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a deep reddish-brown colour, with a pale head and wood and almond notes. On the palette, you can clearly taste the slightly sweet, yet at the same time gently bitter fruit flavours. This is a beer that just oozes class…

As its name suggests, Pecheresse is a lambic beer enriched with peach juice. A young lambic that is at least one year old, in which 30% filtrate of fresh peaches will macerate.

You’ll think summer has come early with every sip of this refreshing Radler. Stepping away from our usual sour style, this collaboration with Brewtoon is a light and fruity fusion of zesty lemon, tangy grapefruit, and sweet pineapple brewed to a super sessionable strength. Saphir hops round out the flavour adding a hint of citrus and subtle floral notes.

Bottling date: 30/09/20 • 75cl For this Oude Kriek Intens Rood, we macerated sour cherries for almost nine months partly on oak and partly on stainless steel. We chose both jonge and two-year oude lambikken for maceration, originating from four different barrels and seven different brews. We blended with another two jonge lambikken from one barrel and two brews. The final fruit intensity is 458 grams of sour cherries per litre of Intens Rood. A part of this blend was bottled on 750 ml bottles and a part on magnums. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed lambik. NL 3 Fonteinen Intens Rood, als een krachtigere Kriek, is de trage maceratie van volle krieken op traditionele lambik. Zonder toegevoegde sappen, siropen of zoetstoffen. Ongefilterd. No addition of juices, syrups or artificial sweeteners. Unfiltered. Unpasteurized.

Lambic is one of the world's oldest beers. According to some, it is also the best, even if its characteristic acidity does not please all palates. To offset this acidity, some decided to add sugar to it. Thus faro was born. Adding sugar syrup to lambic was a revelation at the time of Bruegel. (Some even argue that without faro, Bruegel would have been deprived of inspiration and would have remained an ordinary amateur painter whose canvases couldn't even have been sold at a flea market.) Until the 19th century, faro was very prevalent in the Brussels region. Folklore there was frequently associated with it, and the divine liquid flowed like water. Then faro fell into oblivion. It was not until 1978 that our family brought it back to centre stage. Or centre Senne, as you prefer. Particularly appreciated after physical exertion, faro is not only easy to drink, it is a joy to do so.

Boon Geuze Mariage Parfait has an alcohol content of 8%. It consists of 95% mild lambic, aged at least three years and specially reserved for this purpose, and 5% young lambic. The latter provides the fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. After mixing in a vessel of 25,000 litres, the wort (unfermented mixture) is filtered and chilled. If we are bottling, we bring it back to fermentation temperature. The bottles are placed in a climate-controlled space for the secondary fermentation. This is followed by maturing at low temperature for at least 6 months. Want to know the bottling date? Simply subtract 20 years from the “best before” date! The soft, mildly sour berry taste, harmonises with the oak barrels’ aromas in which Geuze Mariage Parfait has ripen. The body speaks of vanilla followed by a bitter aftertaste of cloves that becomes increasingly intense. Sublime.

Oude Geuze Boon is a monument of taste with an alcohol content of 7%. It’s a magnificent blend of 90% mild 18 month-old lambic, 5% strong 3 year-old beer and 5% very young lambic, which provides fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. All our beers are aged in oak casks, mixed in a vessel of 25,000 litres and chilled. Before bottling, we bring the mix to fermentation temperature. The bottles are then placed in an air-conditioned room, which leads to a secondary fermentation in the bottle. This is when the lambic becomes gueuze. After several months of aging in the bottle, the gueuze develops its delicate flavour. Want to know the bottling date? Simply subtract 20 years from the “best before” date! Taste carefully and you will uncover a fruity grapefruit and ginger flavour with a hint of Muscat grapes. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the wholehearted body and the sublime finish – an explosion of Germanic and Romance cultures.

GALIPETTE BRUT. Delightfully dry to medium-dry, it strikes a perfect balance between acidity and tannins, dryness and sweetness, and between ciders old and new. The unique assemblage balances all four styles of cider apple: bitter, bitter-sweet, sweet, and sharp, in varieties such as Marie Ménard, Kermerrien and Judor. They come from traditional apple orchards near the river Rance in northern Brittany’s Côtes-d’Armor; this is a cider true to its roots, and ours. Slow fermented for medium strength, it has a lovely harmony of earthy aromas and vibrant tastes. Enjoy this zingy unwinder just as it is or discover its food-friendly nature with lightly spicy food.

Cider is matured in Whisky Casks from Glen Moray Distillery. Just enough time passes for the cider to absorb the distinctive tones of the oak and Highland single malt.

Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. It is a first-class thirst quencher after sports or a good companion to light summer dishes, sweet and sour dishes, or fruit sorbets. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops pair perfectly with the zingy character of our mixed fermentation base beer, creating a light and crushable, vegan friendly sour rounded off with lingering sweetness. Rhubarb Cheesecake is another deliciously decadent pastry sour from the minds of Yonder.It’s oozing with tart and tasty puréed rhubarb and finished with rich, sweet vanilla. All on a thick and creamy smoothie-like liquid base.

This tropical BCN Weisse was brewed with an eye on summer and packed full of sunshine. 5 fruit carts full of mango, guava and a tiny hint of ginger are jammed into this summery smoothie. A grist heavy on oats give a silky soft mouthfeel to enhance the tropical vibes even more.

Nøgne Ø Burthen is a spontaneously fermented sour ale with grapes from Tromøya outside Arendal. Morten and Ed have been picking from what is perhaps Norway's largest wild-growing grape tree. The beer has fermented on the natural yeast from the grapes for 30 months. It has developed a fresh acidic taste and a crush dry mouthfeel. Brewed with 100% Norwegian malt.

Kriek de Ranke is an unsweetened cherry beer of mixed fermentation. It arises from a blend of old Flemish ale, lambic and 25 kilos of sour cherries/Hl.

Brewed with our friends at Ossett Brewery, a progressive and passionate brewery housed in the heart of Yorkshire. This beer displays malty sweetness, with hints of caramel rounded by fruity esters. Followed up by a deep plum flavour and drinkable tang.
