Coffee

A quiet place for coffee in Dordrecht

Not every visit to a pub has to start with a craft beer. At De Tijd you can also drop in during the day for a good cup of coffee or tea in a relaxed setting. Our pub is in the middle of the historic centre of Dordrecht, an ideal place to sit down during a day of shopping, a walk through the city or just because you fancy a quiet moment.

The atmosphere at De Tijd is informal and easy-going. You don't have to be a regular to step inside. Just walk in, find a spot and enjoy a coffee, a tea or something nice with it.

Coffee in the centre of Dordrecht

A good pub is about more than the glass; it is about the place around it. De Tijd is in a building with character in the old centre and has been a familiar spot for people who like good company and good drinks since 1988. Our story.

During the day the pub is a good place for a quiet chat, a meeting with friends or a short break while visiting Dordrecht. On the terrace you can enjoy the view and the life of the city in the warmer months. See our terrace

The menu

Coffee, tea and more

Besides our big beer list we serve a range of hot drinks. Think of a classic coffee, or tea for anyone who prefers something without caffeine or alcohol. Our menu matches the feel of De Tijd: easy-going, well looked after and with attention to quality. No rush, no crowds, just enjoying a good moment.

See all our drinks and snacks on our menu.

For craft beer lovers our beer list changes regularly. If you want to discover something new after your coffee, you can always have a look at our beers.

Coffee after a walk through Dordrecht

Dordrecht is a city to explore. The historic centre, the harbours and the many streets with character make it a good place for an afternoon out.

A visit to De Tijd fits in well with that. Start with a coffee, have a drink on the terrace later or combine your visit with one of our other options. See the beer route.

If you stay longer, we also serve pizza from the late afternoon. Our pizzas are made in collaboration with Piacere Italiano and go very well with a nice glass of beer. See our pizzas

Tea and alcohol-free drinks, too

Not in the mood for coffee? We also serve whole-leaf tea, alcohol-free craft beers and other drinks. That way there is something for every group.

More and more visitors look for good alternatives without alcohol. That is why we pay attention to a wide range, so everyone can find something that suits. Find out more about our alcohol-free options.

Coffee, tea, craft beer or just a friendly place in the city: you are welcome at De Tijd.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Although De Tijd is known as a craft beer pub, you are also welcome for coffee, tea and other drinks.

De Tijd is in the historic centre and is a good place to sit down for a while during a visit to Dordrecht.

Yes, in the season you can also enjoy a drink outside on our terrace.

Coffee can just be coffee

Not everyone comes to De Tijd to drink beer. Sometimes after a walk through Dordrecht you just want to sit somewhere with a good coffee or tea.

And sometimes it doesn't stop there. A coffee turns into a second drink, someone pulls up a chair and before you know it you are there for the rest of the afternoon.

That suits De Tijd quite well, actually.
